Green turtle found dead on Qeshm Island

A video has emerged, showcasing a heartbreaking discovery of a dead green turtle that was found washed ashore on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the Iranian province of Hormuzgan.

The footage reveals the unfortunate fate of the rare and remarkable marine species.

The remains of the turtle were buried by officials of the Qeshm Environment Protection Department, who are working to protect the island's marine ecosystem.

The discovery of the turtle's remains serves as a reminder of the need to protect our oceans and the creatures that call them home.

A wide variety of turtles have been identified on the southern coasts of Iran, living in more than 50 habitats.
